Each morning we will rise to the view of the endless blue ocean and awe-inspiring landscape. The week will immerse you in nature, plant-based food, yoga, meditation, and community. This retreat has been carefully crafted to help incite meaningful transformation and experience how it feels to live and move vibrantly while enjoying foods that make us come alive.

Nourish
Each day will feature three organic meals showcasing an in-depth exploration into plant-based cuisine and the island's bounty of nourishing and detoxifying ingredients. Throughout the week you’ll learn how to prepare a variety of plant-based meals through hands-on cooking classes and workshops with Ky. Together we will explore wild, edible, and medicinal herbs, learn how to make gluten-free dough, local wheat sourdough, plant-based cheeses, and chocolates all while utilizing many local ingredients from right outside the farm door!

yoga
Fall is the celebration of harvest and the transition of seasons in the northern hemisphere. We will honor this auspicious time of year with daily yoga classes overlooking Lucy Vincent Beach or in the cocoon of the garden greenhouse. Kaila’s yoga and guided meditation practices will help to cultivate a curiosity about what nourishment you need and help to shed the old and make room for the new. The week will be peppered with adventures around the island and excursions to magical watering holes, sunset paddleboarding, and a visit to the Aquinnah Cliffs. We will wrap up our days by gathering around the fire relaxing in the sauna, or having free time to integrate the magic of this Nourishing & Restorative retreat.

The Allen Farm
The Allen Farm, one of Martha’s Vineyard’s oldest historic farms, is located on South Road in Chilmark, Massachusetts and is a successful model of a diversified family farm. The farm is about 100 acres of pastureland with only the South shores barrier beach and Chilmark Pond separating it from the Atlantic Ocean beyond. The land on the ocean side has been permanently preserved to ensure that this particularly beautiful view will always be a meadow by the sea. With a respect for its history, this family remains deeply committed to preserving and sustaining their farm.

FARMHOUSE - The farmhouse is the central gathering space on the farm, the meeting place, the “marae”. It holds a vast kitchen, 3 living rooms, and an expansive dining area. For those looking for connection, dialogues into the evening, and an abundance of joy and play, this is the space for you. You may find yourselves sitting in front of the fire with your journal, or walking through the garden just out the back door as the sun rises. Just a few feet away from the horses and donkeys, you may hear the gentle whinnying and braying in the mornings.
THE BARN - Across the street from the hub of the farm, the barn is a renovated horse barn, with four bedrooms, a large kitchen, a dining area, living room, 3 bathrooms and an outdoor shower. With nothing standing between the barn and the Atlantic Ocean, this space is ideal for those seeking a deeper connection to the land and sea. You may find yourself watching great blue herons fly overhead to Chilmark Pond while you sip your tea on the deck in the mornings, or find ritual in a sunset walk down to the pond for a kayak or paddleboard with the swans.
COTTAGES - The cottages take you into another realm, one that hosts magical beings that reside in the flowers and leaves around us. In their simplicity, they offer space for deep transformation. They have their own toilets, though no running water or electricity. With candles for light, and the gentle breezes off the pond for sound, those who choose to sleep in the cottages will surely find their dreams full of possibility.
